Should unsolicited connections to your PC be attempted while online a small window pops up from the system tray to let you know. It provides details of the IP address of the computer attempting to contact you, and lets you trace where it is located.

Specific IP addresses can be permanently blocked/accepted should you wish, reducing the number of alerts you receive, or can be blocked individually by the firewall. This option lets you monitor exactly what is going on.

Five security levels are available, increasing from open (no security at all) to lockdown (total traffic blocking). Informative descriptions allow you to decide which level is appropriate to your circumstances.

Using and configuring the firewall is simple enough for all to understand, and is done in an options panel accessed via the system tray. This allows you to set the security level, add banned or trusted IP addresses and enter programs that require inbound connections to your PC to function properly.
