Inclarity reseller Saiph Broadband has gained the golden key to the business of 33,000 SMEs by signing a preferred supplier deal with buying group Ecademy.
The deal means Saiph will be able to offer Inclarity's broadband telephony services to the SME group's transaction platform.
The chairman of the Ecademy Marketplace, Paul Sherman, said: "We have already received significant interest from Ecademy members. The first order was placed the day the service was launched on the Marketplace."
Nick Razey, chief executive of Saiph, said: "Inclarity's online billing and provisioning tools have enabled us to roll out our own voice over broadband service quickly and easily. We can enjoy the advantage of being an early mover while maintaining full control of our service."
Ahal Besorai, chief executive of Inclarity, said the deal offers an ideal route to the SME market. "SMEs are taking up broadband telephony big time because it offers them 20 to 30 per cent savings," he said.
Besorai claimed Inclarity has a "real appetite" for the channel, with its systems integrators, ISPs and resellers providing multiple routes to market. "We are still looking for more resellers and have 10 in the pipeline," he said.
