If you're planning on using accountancy to become a future business leader, then you may have tough competition arriving from abroad in the near future.

Deloitte's International Student Business Forum, the three-day development event that hosts 66 students from more than 30 countries, argued that businesses must look beyond local borders if they are to find the future leaders to help them flourish.

If the firm continues to push this agenda, then expect to see a lot more highly driven individuals from other countries manoeuvring for places on the top table.

On the flip side, that should leave some great opportunities at companies abroad.
